Via an integrated REST API interface and the use of an OAuth 2.0 security communication interface, the most diverse cloud service services are offered immediately within the framework of the docuFORM Agenda 2020. In a first step, these include a service app for multifunctional printing systems.
With this, the user can inform himself at any time about the status of his orders or service activities on the device itself. The REST API makes the app bidirectional, i.e. the service provider can also provide the user with the latest information via a return channel directly in the service app.
REST-API is a standardized software interface that allows you to connect to the cloud without having to open the respective customer network. Authentication takes place via an OAuth 2.0 security server without disclosure of access rights.
Jede Anfrage erfolgt ausschließlich vom Device an die Cloud. Alle Rückinformationen erfolgen über OAuth 2.0 Verschlüsselung als Anfragefeedback.
Weitere REST Anwendungen, wie eine Smartphone SNMP App zur Erfassung von Zählerständen und Stati der Verbrauchsmaterialien folgen kurzfristig.
Diese standardisierte REST API in Verbindung mit OAuth 2.0 macht Mercury MPS 8.0 vollständig cloudfähig und bietet die Möglichkeit, beliebige Anwendungen leicht zu entwickeln. DocuFORM bietet diesen Dienst ab sofort für seine Hosting Kunden in der Cloud an.
