Thanks to the very close cooperation with HP USA, the software company docuFORM from Karlsruhe / Germany, as a pioneer, was able to integrate the extended possibilities of HP SDS 2 into its fleet and service management (FSM) and successfully introduce it to the market. Due to the predictive diagnostics with HP Smart Device Service (SDS), problems can now be solved before they occur. This minimizes the need for on-site service technicians. This allows you to manage your fleet of devices more efficiently, save valuable time and offer your customers increased system availability.
This saves time and costs, as it is not necessary to research whether an order has already been placed or already delivered. For the user, this provides transparency and a comprehensive overview at the touch of a button, directly on the device - for the IT service provider, the opportunity to offer his customer more transparency by providing comprehensive delivery information.
Of course, all security standards are met, since a modular, cloud-based REST / OAuth 2.0 security concept means that no customer networks need to be opened.
In the course of the release of the Mercury Managed Print Services Version 8.10, the fleet and service management solution "Mercury MPS" from docuFORM was extended by the possibility of integrating document scanners from the manufacturer Kodak Alaris, which are connected to the workstation via a USB connection.
